Lakeside Eye Associates Reviews
“ What a great experience! A beautiful office, the physician was well versed and pleasant. And Darrell took his time helping me pick out eyeglasses and he did a superb job. So glad to have found a great office near my home.”
“I have been a patient of Dr. Lupfer for many years. She is an excellent clinician and always does a comprehensive exam based on my risk factors. All the staff at this practice are exceptionally nice and explain everything they are doing. I have stopped in just to get my frames adjusted and Tina always helps me right away. I appreciate the personal touch I experience at Lakeside Eye Associates. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for their eye care needs.”

“Great eye doctors and technicians. My only critique is that the prices for eyewear are quite high, but for contacts, they are great provided you have good insurance.”
“Appointments are almost always on time (or even a few minutes early)”
“Really enjoyed my exam experience. All pricing is very reasonable, from eyewear to supplements. I have referred many of my friends to this office.”
“Eye exams and service have been great - I have used Dr Salazar for multiple appointments. I don’t know the mans name that works in the eyewear department - but he is phenomenal - he helped me so much. So glad I found this place!”
“I have been a patient At this location for four years, and I am extremely satisfied with the care I receive here. From the front office staff to the back-office staff, and the doctors, I am very pleased. They are so professional and nice. They are very efficient with the way they have their clinic flow, I never feel like I’m waiting a long time for the next step in my eye exam visit. Dr. Lupfer Has been the provider that I have seen in the last three years. She is wonderful. I recently had my annual visit, and brought my 16-month-old son who was very fussy and scared of the eye exam machine in the room, Dr. Lupfer and the Eye Tech were so nice and understanding with his behavior. The eye tech even Brought my son to little toy cars from the treasure box and stickers to entertain him. I of course was so embarrassed by his behavior, all he was doing was screaming, but they were so nice and understanding. Saying “we’re moms too— we get it!” Such a relief when we all understand each other on that level!!! I definitely would recommend this practice, not only for their efficiency and courteousness but also because they are great at what they do.”
“First of all let me say that you get the latest styles in frames the technicians know exactly what they’re doing and on the other hand everyone was very kind and funny its a nice place to go get your Eyes examined I recommend them 100 times over”
“The staff was great and professional from the start. Although I was a little late for my appointment, they quickly helped me fill out new patient forms and got me in. The nurse (not positive if this is the right title for her) was so enthusiastic and right to the eye tests. I ended up needing glasses, the first time in my life, and they introduced me to Darryl. He treated me like I was on a photoshoot. He was great and made sure my eyeglasses worked for me, in all aspects. It really felt like he loved what he does and didn't mind helping me. It's not common these days that you are treated with such great customer service. Thank you all! I will be back, and recommend.”
The cornea is imperative to our vision. This thin, transparent dome covers the front of our eyes to protect them. It is also responsible for refracting the light that enters our eyes, focusing it onto the retina where it is transmitted to the brain, which then tells us what we can see. If there are problems with the cornea, it can significantly affect our vision. One corneal problem that is fairly common is known as keratoconus.
Fortunately, our professional eye care team has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of keratoconus, meaning that we can offer you the help that you need to see clearly again.
Exactly what treatment you will be offered for keratoconus will depend on the severity of the condition. Some of the treatments that our team may recommend may include the following:
